⁣⁣ So I've tested positive with covid.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ For those who know me will know that not only do i run a creative photography and film business but I also work in a hospital. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The past few days what I though might be a simple cough and cold turned out to be the covid virus.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It started with a sore throat, followed by a dull pain in chest with a cough leading to me throwing up and eyes feeling like I just touched them with spice.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I did two home tests which resulted positive and then I booked for a proper test at a Covid19 approved test centre.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ A few hours later it was confirmed I was positive.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Currently my ribs are hurting, my neck and shoulders are so tight that they hurt. The back of my head hurts and im sensitive to light.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So now I am isolating myself away from family and everyone for 10 days and resting as much as I can in my room.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Yes it is not easy, yes i want to spend time with loved ones and do the things I love.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ But it is what it is and we have to not be selfish and look after ourself so we can look after others.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I won't lie mentally i've been struggling especially since i'm trying to rebuild everything after losing my father. ⁣⁣ Struggling to create financial security and loosing work and projects due to covid has been tough.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ But like anything in life, everything is a test and I have faith that Allah (God), or whomever you believe in will give you the energy and the blessings to keep strong.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ remember stay focused, get yourself better and things will fall into place.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As I type this i feel my chest burning and breathing hurts. so take it serious and look after yourself.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Oh I did eat a samosa to see if I still have sense of taste and wohooo yes i've not lost sense of taste yet lol.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I pray that no matter what we go through in life. It taught me who has been there and who has not. ⁣⁣ 2020 has been trippy. It started of bad, it ⁣⁣ 2020 has been trippy. It started of bad, it ended bad but in between it showed the people who will support your goals and the people who only think about themselves.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I came across some amazing people who have inspired me through their creativity and media design skills.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This motivation will be used in my future photo and video adventures.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ loosing my father was the biggest impact on my life in 2020 but one thing i will not leave behind is the strength my father had to his last breath.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I will take that strength and every strength i gained in 2020 to build an amazing future in 2021 and the days to come.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Stay tuned, follow the journey and who knows maybe we can help each other build a happy successful future.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Im going to keep this post simple and say to anyone one reading. ⁣ It's ok to be emotional.⁣ ⁣ Sometimes when ⁣ It's ok to be emotional.⁣ ⁣ Sometimes when life takes its toll and you are hurt you will feel very emotional.⁣ ⁣ Weather its loosing a loved one or if you have achieved a dream.⁣ ⁣ From tears to smiles we always get stronger.⁣ ⁣ I know for me the hardest thing is to cry but recently following the loss of my father i was very emotional and held my tears until last night.⁣ ⁣ Im going to say this. Don't hold back, if you need to cry then do it.. you will come out stronger and stronger.⁣ ⁣ If you want help or someone talk to..then give hints or tell someone you want to talk.⁣ ⁣ Sometimes you may not want to talk but just want someone to sit next to you and keep you company.⁣ ⁣ When your time comes to let out your emotions you will know who was there for you.⁣ ⁣ No matter what struggles you are going through. Prayers for my father and all that are ill and goi Prayers for my father and all that are ill and going through tough times.⁣ ⁣ As some of you may know my father is currently in hospital very ill fighting for his life.⁣ ⁣ Over the past few years both my parent’s health’s have been going downhill.⁣ ⁣ 5-6 weeks ago, my dad became so ill he ended up being admitted into hospital.⁣ ⁣ My dad has been on dialysis for a very long time as a result of kidney failure due to #diabetes.⁣ ⁣ He started developing a lot of pain through his rectum. So unbearable he ended up in hospital.⁣ ⁣ Due to the nature of the pain and symptoms surgical options were not available due to his poor blood levels and the fact that he had not had dialysis for 2 days.⁣ ⁣ It was discovered that a Cyst the size of a horseshoe developed within him which urgently needed to be drained.⁣ ⁣ Upon drainage of the horseshoe size cyst the procedure left him very tired and unable to communicate with anyone.⁣ ⁣ For the past 6-7 days he has been unresponsive and very weak, his blood pressure dropped, and his body had an infection. ⁣ ⁣ The hardest part was that no one was allowed to see him for 4-5 weeks and this was really tough especially on mother who has never been away from each other without communication.⁣ ⁣ Long story short.⁣ ⁣ The infection has affected part of his brain and his organs are slowly shutting down.⁣ ⁣ There was some hope on Friday 4th when mum spoke to dad and for first time in weeks, he actually spoke to someone. However, this was still not good news because dad went back into being delusional and his stats dropped.⁣ ⁣ A few days ago, I was asked to discuss a do not resuscitate procedure for dad when the time comes. A decision that is so hard that I had to make sure that my mother and family are aware of what might be.⁣ ⁣ As much as we know how much dad is fighting for his life, we know that life is in Allah’s (Gods) hands. ⁣ ⁣ Being strong for me is the only choice and throughout this my mother has been extremely strong. I did hug her and asked her to just let her tears out and don't hold back. ⁣ ⁣ I ask that you keep my father and everyone going through tough times in your prayers.⁣ ⁣ #prayers #father #mother #parents #life #faith
Im so glad mum got to see dad today in hospital af Im so glad mum got to see dad today in hospital after 7 weeks. Even if it is for one hour.⁣ ⁣ Dad got admitted into hospital when his body became so weak he collapsed. It's been a tough few years for everyone.⁣ ⁣ With him being on dialysis and organs less than 4% functional this was very hard. A few days after admission he began to bleed and become even more unhealthy.⁣ The pain in his body meant for him to be drugged out to reduce his pain.⁣ ⁣ Past week or so my dad has been in ICU where they carried out two procedures to remove some cysts within his bladder which caused him discomfort and bleeding.⁣ ⁣ Alhamdulillah he is recovering but is not in the best of conditions as his heart is weak and blood pressure is very low. Allah knows best on what the future will hold.⁣ ⁣ Throughout all this mum has kept strong. I know how tough it's been for her as my parents have never been a part from each other.⁣ ⁣ With all the health issues my mum has she has never shown weakness.⁣ ⁣ Mothers are so strong. They keep strong even when struggling mentally and physically.⁣ ⁣ To all those who have read this. He would have been 33 today.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Nabil Ahmed // 1987 - 2002⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ He was my brother who lost his battle to cancer and ever since that day my life has not been the same.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ He made the most of life. Put smiles on peoples face that are still remembered to this very day.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ He used to say 'todays my day" but not as in todays my day i'm going to die. But today i'm going to make the most of life.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Alhamdulillah feel at peace today for the first time in a very long time. ⁣⁣ I want to be successful so that I can give ⁣⁣ I want to be successful so that I can give more.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Those who know me will know that all my life I have done nothing but give and work extremely hard.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Over the past few years I have fallen so many times especially since my own mental and physical health has been affected by not making time for myself.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I work hard because of a dream that I have. A dream that one day I will live a comfortable life style where me and my family will not have to worry about walking into a shop and buying food or luxury items that may make us feel good.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The biggest reason why I work extremely hard is because I want to give more. I want to be able to one day pay someone's bills off, pay for someones clothes, or help them through struggles that may require some assistance.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I've helped people who have money, i've helped people who don't have money.⁣⁣ ⁣ I've helped people at my own cost and sometimes the cost of my own success.⁣ ⁣⁣ If you come to my door step and asked for help, i would give what I have and always try to never send you away empty handed.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Success always comes at a price. ⁣⁣ Stay patient your upload just failed.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Stay patient your upload just failed.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So for the past few days I've been trying to upload three projects on YouTube, Vimeo and a Video for a client.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I was soo looking forward to sharing not only my videos but also the work I did for some recent clients from weddings to corporate videos along with some random youtube videos i been making.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Only to find that my internet connection dropped and the upload stopped which means now im going to have to re-upload the vids.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ But the moral of the story is.
