I took a big step back recently. I nearly gave up until I realised how far I have come.

This Eid is very emotional even ramadan and the days leading up to it have been emotional.

Around the world we shall be celebrating this blessed day without our loved ones by our side.

Today was a hard day knowing that Dad and a few other family members wont be around. I pray that they are blessed with a place in Janat (heaven) and any sins forgiven.

From my heart I urge you to not forget the good deeds done during the month of Ramadan but to remember the loved ones we and others have lost in your prayers.⁣⁣

There is so much I want to say but I will keep it short.

This was a peace of art work I created over 12 years ago.
Unfortunately I lost the original but the message was simple.

We call those who are terrorising, killing and hurting others the victims.
We call the people who are protecting their rights, families, freedom and life.. terrorists.

The media chooses what they want you to see.
Your silence chooses what you want to hear.

Violence should not be hit by violence
Peace can not come without action.

You push a person to the wall..eventually the wall will break.

I pray that everyone struggling regardless of faith that Allah blesses everyone with good health, success and happiness.

Over the past few months so much has happened in life. From my father passing away to learning which people in my life I will be sharing some amazing moments with.

I'm keeping this post short because. I'm focusing on me. something I have not done very well while growing up.

My passion for storytelling, being creative and let's not forget gaming is about to move forward.

Using the skills of photography and video to create some amazing content that will not just help me but will help everyone.

The past year has been difficult for so many of us. From living in isolation due to Covid19 all the way to loosing loved ones.

No matter how many times we hurt or fell in the past few years. Just remember each time you got up you became stronger.

Ramadan for me and a few others will be different. I lost my father and uncle and a close brother lost his mother only a few days a part.

The blessed month of Ramadan will help us get closer to our faith and open new spiritual, physical and mental health doors.

No matter who you are, where you are... I pray that we are all blessed with good health, happiness and success.

𝐒𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧?

Ramadan is the holy month where muslims observe fasting between sunrise to sunset for a month.⁣
⁣
This is also the month where the holy scripture The Quran was sent to Earth by Allah (God) to the messenger Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him.⁣
⠀⁣
2021 just like 2020 will be a different challenge for many muslims. Due to Covid19 lockdowns, muslims will not be able to attend mosques or social gatherings where they pray and share blessings.⁣
⠀⁣
At the end of Ramadan we celebrate Eid where muslims all across the globe donate to charities and families get together to enjoy food.⁣
⁣
Why not give fasting a try? If you feel the Ramadan style of fasting will be too much why not try the modern day equivalents. ⁣
⁣

- Alternative Day Fasting⁣

This year no matter what the challenges lay ahead.⁣

So it's been 42 years that me and my brother came to planet Earth.

So many stories and adventures to share. We all have memories and we all have stories to share.
Go memories to bad memories we all have something that can inspire and help others.

It's been a difficult few years. Loosing my Father in 2020 to being robbed of my gear and mum not being well.

Every journey has a story.

Over the next few months not only will I be sharing the stories from my life experiences but im looking forward to exploring the world and sharing other peoples journeys and stories.

So I've tested positive with covid.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
For those who know me will know that not only do i run a creative photography and film business but I also work in a hospital. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The past few days what I though might be a simple cough and cold turned out to be the covid virus.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It started with a sore throat, followed by a dull pain in chest with a cough leading to me throwing up and eyes feeling like I just touched them with spice.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I did two home tests which resulted positive and then I booked for a proper test at a Covid19 approved test centre.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
A few hours later it was confirmed I was positive.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Currently my ribs are hurting, my neck and shoulders are so tight that they hurt. The back of my head hurts and im sensitive to light.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So now I am isolating myself away from family and everyone for 10 days and resting as much as I can in my room.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Yes it is not easy, yes i want to spend time with loved ones and do the things I love.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
But it is what it is and we have to not be selfish and look after ourself so we can look after others.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I won't lie mentally i've been struggling especially since i'm trying to rebuild everything after losing my father. ⁣⁣
Struggling to create financial security and loosing work and projects due to covid has been tough.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
But like anything in life, everything is a test and I have faith that Allah (God), or whomever you believe in will give you the energy and the blessings to keep strong.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
remember stay focused, get yourself better and things will fall into place.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
As I type this i feel my chest burning and breathing hurts. so take it serious and look after yourself.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Oh I did eat a samosa to see if I still have sense of taste and wohooo yes i've not lost sense of taste yet lol.⁣⁣

Each day i been going out and eating food that did not satisfy me or help me mentally in anyway shape or form.⁣⁣

With my father passing away on Thursday 10th September 2020 I realised that if I don't change my ways now then I will be doing more damage to my body and mind.⁣⁣

There is no such thing as fat food. what makes you fat or over weight is overeating and not burning off the calories you have consumed.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Meal deals are quick and easy foods which we can buy in our local supermarkets and cost around £3 thats £15 per week if you work Monday to Friday and keep buying meal deals.⁣⁣

For that amount of money you could easily go get quality nutritional food and meal prep everything.⁣⁣
